Our Team

Dr. Sridhar Kundula M.D. is an Internal Medicine physician with a passion in preventative care.  He is completed his residency at NYU Langone Brooklyn Campus where he earned the award for PGY-2 (2^nd year of residency) Resident of the Year and was also a chief resident during his final year of training.  He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is a certified diplomate with the American Board of Obesity Medicine. 

After residency he worked as a hospitalist in a small rural hospital in western New York and at a community hospital in New Jersey.  During this time is where he encountered numerous patients with chronic issues that were difficult to treat.  Patients were desperate to return to their former health, but often it was too late.  These experiences led him to delve into outpatient primary care medicine by joining his old medical school classmate’s practice.  Although the enjoyed having more responsibility and continuity of care with his patients, he felt he was impeded from offering the most advanced care due to the reluctance of health insurance companies to cover preventive care services. 

Due to the pandemic he and his family decided it would be best for him to move to where he grew up in Southern California and open up his own practice free of restraints of the health care system.  He lived in Mission Viejo from 2 years of age up until graduating from Capistrano Valley High School.  After searching for locations for the practice he settled on opening in neighboring Rancho Santa Margarita.
